"New Opperby Scholar Announced

The Royal College of Music is pleased to announce today – 21 April – that the recipient of its first ever 2006/07 Opperby Stokowski Scholarship is mezzo-soprano Angelica Voje from Norway.

Angelica will be a new student to the College and will commence studies for a Graduate Diploma this September.
The announcement coincides with the birthday of the late Mimi Opperby whose music collection was generously donated to the RCM. The College is indebted to the Opperby-Stokowski Trust for its kind support."
